i met susan, at maurice’s, in brenham over 3 years ago.  her infectious smile & spectacular customer service left a lasting impression.  she kept me coming back to maurice’s & the wheels turning to figure out how to bring her on team royer.

shortly after meeting susan, her family came to down to visit & she brought them out for dinner at the cafe…they sat on table one.  i remember the evening well.  we had a wonderful time talking about family, friends, pies and customer service.  it was even more clear i wanted her on team royer and the feeling was mutual.

the quickest way to get her on board was to include her in catering events & the 1st one was BIG one!  she did an amazing job and continued to help us cater.

2 years ago we opened the round top pie haven and it seemed the perfect fit for susan.  she helped out on weekends until she was ready to come on full time.  of course, the pie haven of austin came along & would need a star to run it & susan was willing to do whatever.  she said of course and put her house on the market.  her house sold in a week.  we found her a place to live in a day.  working daily at the cafe God would put people in front of her that helped make it even more clear.  one day everyone that walked thru that door was from austin and they were so excited to hear about our new venture.  God was and is in complete and total control.  opening doors one after the other.  her perserevance & patients has paid off and we are totally blessed by her.  God sent us an angel with susan.

thank you susan for being part of our dream!  we love you!

love, tara, the pie queen

I couldn’t agree more. Nothing makes my heart more proud than watching people get to know the girl underneath all the hair and cute accessories, the way that her family and friends have always seen her! God definately makes each of us unique and I have always admired her awesome personality and am always in complete awe of all the networking she does without even trying! Being miles apart is a whole lot easier knowing she’s surrounded by the great people behind Team Royers! So excited to watch each of your dreams unfold. Best wishes! Xoxo

Tara, your sweet words, about our no. 1, melt our hearts. Our first visit to the cafe proved you and your fam have it going on. Congrats! Thank you all for including Sooze and treating her as one of your own. God’s blessings to the Royer team, over and over and over and over and over and over, again 😉

So happy for Susan and glad she can be where she is celebrated and able to use her amazing God given talents. Thank you for honoring and appreciating her. Can’t wait to come and visit. Prayers to all coming from Florida. My first out of college job was in New Braunfels so I share her excitement in being in that area. BLESSINGS.
