best deviled eggs everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

it’s been awhile.  like forever.  the last 4 months have been non-stop & we recently went on a pie-cation and enjoyed a little break.

that means i experimented.  these eggs are an experiment gone right.  way right!  amaze balls.


boil a dozen eggs

while those are boiling crisp up about 5 slices of bacon, drain, cool,  chop into bits & set aside

chop up about 12 chives

once the eggs are done boiling, let them cool & then peel

cut in 1/2

place yolks in a bowl and set the egg whites to the side.

mash the yolks

add 1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp olive oil

3/4 small jar of truffle cream (i tossed the jar before i got the ounces…it’s probably no more than a 3 oz jar)

3/4 small jar of zatarian’s creole mustard (think it’s a 5.25 ounce jar)

whip these with your trusty mixer & fill eggs, top with bacon bits & some chopped up chives!

omg.  fabulous.  i could eat all 12.
